Just Tap

This is an EFT method you can use to calm rattled emotions and racing thoughts.

It’s especially useful when…

  • You want to feel better, but are too upset to think straight
  • You’d like to use EFT, but can’t figure out what to say
  • You don’t really know the problem
  • You’re too tired or too lazy to do anything more elaborate
  • You’d rather just be open and accepting of your feelings and tap while experiencing them
  • A more meditative approach to EFT feels right
  • You want to help another person, by tapping on them while they cry, shake, rage or vent

It’s one of the easiest of all the EFT methods…

…and it’s very effective.

Hi Natalie
Was just thinking about this. So many times you get so frustrated and just can’t put the words together.Someone will ask”what can I do to help”? My response “If I knew that I would do it!”. The emergency EFT helps center me and gets me to relax. Do you ever tap during meditation or maybe before? When you come upon something that just stirs your Spirit would that be a good time to tap?

Maggie, I actually DO tap during meditation when something gets stirred up! But I tap without actually moving my arms or physically doing anything with my fingers.

I just imagine that I’m tapping, while using whichever EFT procedure I want.

I find that during the focus of meditation, if a disturbing thought, emotion or memory comes it, it’s a great opportunity for deep clearing.

Thanks for your generosity, Natalie! It’s been a month I have used EFT in very differents situations and it is always helpful. Much of that I own to you, your manuals and videos are very inspirous, and I specially like the informal way you present the techniches and yourself. Congratulations, truly, for your beautiful work!

Natalie, Thank you so much for your continued positive presence. I am finally getting the message. We older Native Americans have a lot to dump. We have also been told from birth to sit down and shut up. I could go on and on but will tap these out instead. After 65 years there is finally a method to dump. Thank You.

White Dove – it feels great to hear you say that. I’ve nearly worshiped Native American cultures most of my life. So much beauty and wisdom.

But I guess some of that stoic, silent nature also has its price.

Avinash – the script for tapping to increase height is the same script for everything.

You first tap on the problem – name it and your thoughts and feelings about it.

Example:

Even though I’m too short and I feel insecure and think I’m not good enough, I love and accept myself anyway.

Tapping the points:
I’m too short.
I feel insecure being so short.
Being short makes me feel not good enough.
Etc.

Then tap what you want.

Even though I’m short now, what if my body could grow a tiny bit taller every day.

Tapping
What if my body could get a little taller every day.
What if I could be taller.
I can see myself taller.
I can feel my body getting taller.
I can imagine how confident and proud I’ll be as a taller person.
I’m so grateful for my body growing.
Etc.

Also – if there are any experiences you’ve had that make you “feel small,” do EFT to diffuse the associated negative feelings and beliefs.

Measure your height once a week or once a month.
