How the Law of Attraction Works

In short, it is based on the principal that like attracts like.

The Law of Attraction is a vibrational law.

What that means is that the vibration you are sending out will attract people and events with a similar vibration coming back to you.

So if you’re happy and appreciative most of the time, you will attract events and people in your life that evoke more happiness and appreciation.

If, on the other hand, you’re crabby and complaining much of the time, you’ll have people and events coming your way that are upsetting, irritating and stimulate you to complain.

Using Visualization to Attract What You Want

In everything I’ve ever seen or read about the Law of Attraction, the experts suggest we visualize.  The Abraham Hicks folks recommend many different visualization exercises.  The movie, The Secret, demonstrated the effectiveness of making a vision board – a visualization tool.

But if you’ve tried visualizing as a manifestation tool, you may have been disappointed in your results.

One element that may have been lacking for you, during your visualization, is emotion.

Emotions and the Law of Attraction

Your emotional state makes up most of your vibration (or so I understand).

Let’s say you want to manifest having a dog.

You might think, “Hmm. It would be nice to have a dog in my life.”

Then you might say, “I want a dog.”

Next you might begin looking at dog breeds online, or going to look at dogs.

Added to all that, you may begin feeling happy when you imagine yourself with your dog.  The emotional component is what really gives the whole manifestation process the power.

Combine all those elements together, often enough, and you’re likely to soon find yourself being a dog owner.

The Mind Movies 2.1 process includes your own photos.  These photos will evoke in you a strong positive emotional response, supercharging the effectiveness.

Belief System

The Mind Movies 2.1 folks talk about the need for your belief system to be in alignment with the thing you want to manifest in your life.

This is critical.  There are many ways that your belief system can sabotage your dreams.  And this happens to us all the time!

Here are some beliefs that could sabotage your dog dream.

I am allergic to dogs.

Having a dog will be a lot of work.

Having a dog will tie me down and limit my ability to leave town or travel.

I won’t get enough sleep because I’ll have to get up early every morning to walk the dog.

My clothes will always be covered with dog hair.

My car will always have that stinky doggy smell.

I’m going to hate picking up dog poop.

If you are holding any of these or other limiting dog beliefs, your beliefs are likely to block your dream from manifesting.

There are some limiting beliefs that commonly block people from manifesting more money, better jobs, loving relationships and life abundance in general.

Typical Limiting Beliefs

These include:

I’m not good enough.

I’m not worthy.

There something wrong with me.

People won’t like me.

I don’t have the right experience.

I don’t have the right education.

I’m not skilled enough.

I’m not as skilled as the competition.

I don’t have the right background.

We don’t do that in my family.

I’m not lovable enough.

It will be too hard.

I’ll have to work too hard.

I’m afraid to shine.

People will judge or criticize me.

Do you hold any of these limiting beliefs?  If you do, they will surely hold you back from manifesting your dreams to some degree.

The best method I’ve ever found to remove limiting beliefs is EFT, Emotional Freedom Techniques.

Empowering Beliefs

You change your limiting beliefs to new beliefs like:

I am enough.

I’m plenty good enough.

I am worthy.

I am lovable.

I am capable.

I’ve got what it takes to succeed.

I am worthy of being paid generously for what I do.

I am likable and lovable.

I can succeed regardless of my background.

I know my worth, regardless of what others think or say.

When you’ve done the work to uncover and transform your limiting beliefs, you can manifest your dreams much more easily.  There is nothing blocking the vibrations you are emitting, since they are all aligned in the same positive direction.

This is why I say Mind Movies 2.1 Supercharged.
